Travel mirror

I am totally disappointed in the fact that continually turns off if you move slightly. If I bought it from a store, I would return it.

One great feature of this mirror is the sensing auto on/off mode. Our sensor mirror lights up automatically as your face approaches. Once away from the sensor, the light will turn off after about 5 seconds.

Great mirror

I would give this five stars but for the size. Great lighting and magnification but too small to see anything but a small portion of your face. I'm keeping it and will use for travel.

Attractive/Functioional - Battery doesn't last long

It's a very attractive and functional mirror. I love the way I don't have to touch anything to turn it on - it senses when you are close and comes on automatically. Good magnification. However, this is the 2nd unit I've had that has been replaced and the problem is that the battery simply doesn't hold a charge. For the price, one would assume it would hold a charge for longer than 2 weeks. And this is only being used in themorning when I put on my make up; so basically 12-15 uses and then it has to be recharged. It has to be a design flaw is all I can figure out. The customer service people have been good in returning and replacing but now with second unit doing the same thing, I've given up. I will simply have to keep the mirror plugged in with the "black cord" which is unsightly but what else do you do? I bought it for the beautiful aesthetic and now it doesn't look so nice but it still magnifies and lights, so I guess 60% performance is better than not working at all? I don't think I would recommend it though.

Our sensor mirrors are designed to last 4-5 weeks on a single charge when used an average of 10-15 minutes every day. The mirror will need to be charged more often if it is used for longer periods of time. Upon receiving the customer's returned mirror, our technicians found that the battery was in good condition and holding a charge properly.

I absolutely love this mirror! However, after 3 months the mirror sensor ceased operating.
I contacted simplehuman and they stood by their warranty by sending a replacement.
I returned the defective mirror with a prepaid label supplied by the Company.
I would definitely recommend this product and Company!

Great mirror! Sensor turns it on and off just when you want it to. Very handy mirror that enables you to see any critical area on your face. I also have the wall mount mirror and it works wonderfully also.
