Another 5 Star product from Simplehuman! Great lighted, folding, magnifying mirror. Sensor turns it on and off. Zippered firm-shelled case is a big plus. Very happy I purchased this.

Didn't work as advertised

I purchased this mirror to apply makeup in the morning. It comes in a nice zippered pouch and the materials are good quality. However, the mirror is so short, you have to place it on a 6" box to get it up to face height when seated at a desk. Also, the light has a motion detector which goes on every time you walk by. There were directions to correct this, but when I held the button as the directions stated, it would not shut the light off. This particular feature was annoying. They need to improve the design by making a telescoping portion which would enable the mirror to be raised to face height when seated and get rid of the motion detector.

The reason I chose this mirror was the 10x magnification level and stand. It is small enough, compact and lightweight to easily carry when traveling. Functional and practical as well as attractive.

Actually have not used it yet. I have used this mirror for about 8 years and love it. It has started to not keep a charge as long as usual so I ordered a new one to take to Europe.
