I got this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. It takes the place of the bag we used to keep in the sink for all the scraps we feed to our chickens and goats. It hangs right on the side of our simplehuman trash can and is out of the way yet easy to get to.

Compost Caddy

I love the compost caddy. It’s nice to be able to attach it to the garbage can and have my compost, recycling, and garbage in one area. The caddy lost a star because the sticky backing that is supposed to attach to the garbage can does not stay stuck. The weight of the compost bin does hold it down enough (without the sticky backing) that it doesn’t completely stick out from the side of the garbage can though.

So sleek & easy to use! I'm not embarrassed to say that I purchase this Compost Caddy along with the 55L Rectangular Step can with Liner Pocket as an Xmas gift to myself :)

Nice product, very excessive packaging

Hi,
I received the compost caddy and it works great. But I was really surprised and disappointed in how much packaging you used to ship it. The box was gigantic - ie contributing to higher emissions from shipping - and filled with different kinds of packing material including plastic air bubbles, which are terrible for the environment and very hard to recycle. A much smaller box with only paper padding would have worked fine, it seems to me. (when you send the large garbage cans, for example, I don't think they have much padding and they do fine.) I'm hoping you revisit your packaging design for smaller products. Thanks.
