My husband and I have tried a number of different compost containers and none ever lasted without one of us ending up hating it. Either the lid fell off and broke or the bag was impossible to get out and they always take up counter space. This product fixes all that. I love that I can grab it and bring it to where I am working, that the lid stays open while I may have messy hands and that it’s easy to close the lid when I’m done. I love that it is off the counter on the trash can most of the time where my 4 year old can use it too. Super easy to get the bag out and clean, looks great. We are happy :)

Love the compost caddy. It is right next to my sink and east to throw waste away. Also, love the bag that goes with it. No mess when taking the waste out and no odor.

Too Small & Bags Don't Fit

I recently purchased the compost caddy to go along with our trash/recycling bin from Simplehuman (which we love). The compost caddy is too small to be of much use (this is my own fault for not looking at sizing close enough before purchase), but the bags that are designated to go with the caddy are too small as well - as in, they are difficult to install without ripping them and there is little room to tie them off when the caddy is full. I'm a big fan of Simplehuman products, but I'd look elsewhere for a compost bin if I were to do it again.

Perfect for My Small Family

I am pleased with my compost caddy. Although compact, I can put a week’s worth of organic material in the caddy and, using the custom fit liners, dispose of it in my greens container. There is no odor and no leaking.

Stylish composting

The style of this bin fits in with our kitchen and we do not have issues with smell so I don’t mind it sitting in our counter. But I t is half the size it should be. We can fill it in one day and the use of all the bags seems wasteful. Our city also does not collect these bags, we have to drive them to a location, so we constantly have a bag of bags to take. I would love to hear of a larger size to swap out with.
