I have only been using this compost caddy for a few weeks. The magnet that keeps the lid up is wonderul. It is small enough to leave on the counter. I have a Simple Human kitchen trash bin I have had for 12 yrs and it is still in good shape and keeps odors in. That is why I went with Simple Human for compost caddy. My only complaint is the magnet is not strong enough to stay on our fridge.

great upgrade to our compost storage. easy to pop the lid open and it stays shut to keep smells contained. love that we can keep in connected to the trash bin and move it to the countertop as needed

I ADORE this streamline box! Finally - no need to juggle with a hand full of kitchen scraps while bening down to open the "under the sink" bucket! AND it is generously roomy - I initially thought it should be wider but honestly am astonished how much this little tiger holds!

Very Clunky Attachment

Attractive, quality product as a stand-alone item, but I find that using the docking mechanism just looks and feels very clunky. Not the streamlined look I was hoping for based on the expectations set in their website demonstration video.
