It's too small

Such an elegant and lovely design. The stainless steal compost caddy is the perfect size to remove and collect scraps. The magnetic feature to attach to my larger Simple Human trash can is very convenient. Its slow closing top makes a great seal and keeps smells trapped. Highly recommended.

Very posh black compost bin. Keeps the smell in, and easy to clean. Kinda small/narrow but it’s good u must keep on top of iemotying it every 4-7 days.

Perfect size for a daily compost bin

Like every Simplehuman product I've bought, this one is awesome! It is the perfect size for a daily compost bin and is easily attaches to my new 45L can. I just wish I could buy the broken plastic clip, that makes the lid function, for my 38L can.

Great so far, but with questions…

This is a well-made, stainless steel, compost caddy. I bought the white version to match with our new Simple Human white dish dryer, so the set looks great on our kitchen counters. The bags fit nicely on the inside without peeking out. We are filling it up, but haven’t reached the top or decided what exactly to do with the bag and contents yet. While some of the items might be good for my planters (tea leaves and coffee grounds), some might not be so helpful. So…do we trash the whole bag, knowing it will all decompose nicely? Or put the whole bag near the bottom of one of my large planters? Hmmm. I’ll need to research that. Well, either way, very happy to be able to save food scraps and know none of it, including the bag, will be damaging to our environment. Highly recommend it! One suggestions Simple Human: make smaller containers that might contain different compost products (maybe 16 oz canisters in the same great material???)

So convenient!

This is one of my favorite recent purchases! I love that the can is small enough to sit on my kitchen island, making it convenient to toss in orange peels and other compostable materials. For the frequency with which I need to replace the bags, it's larger than what I need, but for households of more than one person, I imagine it is perfectly sized.
