I bought a new trashcan and had issues a year later with the Foot pedal opening it.
I contacted customer service and sent them the required information and pictures and without hesitation they replace the product with a great new trashcan that I’m having no issues with. The trashcan is excellent quality and looks very nice in my kitchen.
The quality of the product and the service will make me a return customer .

Great step Can

I love this step trash can with liner pocket. Easy to put the bag and easy to take it out ( I always hated struggling putting the trash bags and make sure it lined up properly). Very chic while functional. Great addition to kitchen for people who want to combine look and functionality.

I love the design, style, and simplicity of the step can!
The only thing that holds me from giving this product a 5 star review is that in the hinge section the pieces are plastic where you fold up and down. It’s a critical part of the design because it can get really flimsy once one of the pieces break.

Any liquid leaves a horrid mark on it and when opening there’s a huge plastic piece surrounding that trash and dust collects on

Simply Human has an excellent customer service - I received my Free replacement of the 55L rectangular step can with liner pocket after the initial one has failed on the step functionality in 2.5 years.
However, I wish Simply Human sent me the improved version that has the middle split lids open, because the original 55L rectangular step can with liner pocket has the fundamental flaw that the lid is too heavy for the step to lift wide open after a few hundred usages. The 2 stars are for the customer service. I hope the information helps.
