This is a perfect trash can. I ordered the white one because everything is white in my home so it marches perfectly. The bag opens widely so it’s easier to dispose the trash inside. The step is all across and makes it super easy to use. Definitely recommend and also purchased the shredder attachment best combo ever

Best Trash Can (But Dented)

I love the soft-close lid and the lack of inner liner, which makes it really easy to clean. However, it did come with a small dent on the side, which seems to be a common problem based on the reviews. I personally don’t care that much because they also throw in a free pack of trash bags and an odorsorb pod, but they really need to work on the padding for the sides. I appreciate that they’re trying to be more eco-friendly, but structured cardboard is not enough to protect these trash cans.

Almost perfect

Arrived with a very small dent on the can lid that you can only see at certain angles. Don’t love the dent, but didn’t want to go through the process of making a return.
I love the can and I have purchased many simplehuman products from multiple soap dispensers and too many trash cans to remember.
Love all the products purchased to date and will remain a loyal customer.
