This is my third Simple Human trash can and I absolutely love them. Not only is their functionality unmatched but they last forever! You must get the bags with them. They fit perfectly and are much sturdier than traditional store bought brands.

Excellent quality trashcan

Very pleased with the overall quality of this can. Well-made, durable and sturdy stainless steel shell that holds a lot more than my previous scan of the same size. Love that you can fit it with the appropriate sized bag and the bag is easy to slip on and lift out. Foot pedal is soft underfoot and the top lid lifts silently and with minimal effort. Very happy w this purchase.

Absolute Genius

In these times I am reminded of the Progressive Insurance commercials about 'Parentamorphosis or 'becoming your parents'.
Upon receiving this incredibly designed and aesthetically brilliant receptacle, I was shook with excitement. I displayed it proudly in the driveway while peacocking to the neighbors of what was about to be in my kitchen. Heads were turning, nods of sincere approval and high fives were plentiful.
Shortly after, my kids arrived home from school and were immediately taken through the tutorial: Shown the brilliance, the design, the functionality and were truly amazed. However, their amazement was at how proud and excited I was over what they see as a 'trash can'. Kids have no appreciation for the finer things.
I carefully placed the replacement cartridge in it's place. . . LIKE A GLOVE, it fit so perfectly. I then placed the first Simple Human CodeQ custom liner into the magnificent stainless steel receptacle and my heart sang with how snug the drawstring wrapped around the peak of the can. It was like two old friends hugging. I then placed the Simplehuman Odorsorb Pod into it's rightful place on the inside lid and felt accomplishment. It was complete. The masterpiece was finished.
I closed the top lid and just stood and gazed at how the lip of the top of the can wraps around to hide the custom liner at the top. It stands proudly as the focal point in our kitchen. Something that everyone is shown as part of a house tour and will forever live in infamy as the best receptacle on the street!
