Great trash can but not so great company

This trash can is great. However, getting it was a problem and there was no one to talk to when the shipment fell off the face of the earth. They say they’ll get back to you within 24 hours when you submit the online request. Their idea of getting back to you is an automatic reply with links to their website about unrelated things. It does ask if it helped. The answer was no but nothing has happened since and it’s been days. Sad that they can’t do any better than that.

Our last SimpleHuman trash can was approximately 10-12 years old. Wife was ready for change and I didn’t put up an argument even though I felt there was no need too because there wasn’t a problem with the ole can. With that said, we are excited about the size of the 55L. Went from stainless steel to black. Just overall I feel we’ll get 10+ years service from this model or until the wife wants “change”.

I just ordered a replacement garbage can. The one we had, that was identical to it, came with our condo six years ago when we moved in. Last month, the lid broke, so we have replaced the can. The one we replaced could have been here ten or more years. It spoiled us, so we replaced it. Love, love, love it!

The only one I’ll buy

We’ve had this trashcan in stainless steel for over 5 years and had to get a new one bc the kids ruined the spring inside. As pricey as this, we love it and the simple human trash bags. It’s a great size for a trashcan. I love that it now comes in matte black!
