This is a very well thought out and executed product. Brilliant design. Runs circles around the Kohler version. Very high quality mechanism and excellent finish and look to it. Very satisfied with this product.

Who knew a trash can could be so great!

We just adopted a rescue dog and he had a propensity to open the lid to our old plastic garbage can and take what he wanted. I looked online for the best steel garbage can and I found it!
This is by far the best garbage can I ever owned and I never thought I would ever get excited over a garbage can! It’s dog proof!

Wide opening, easy to change bags, change more often

Overall we really like this. The shape and size of the opening make it easy to use. The foot pedal is our preference over sensors and the implementation here is the best I've experienced. We do have to change bags slightly more often then our last due to the slightly smaller simplehuman bags but I think this is fine since we don't overfill making it easier to remove.

Beautiful can but doesn’t hold

Beautiful can but doesn’t hold the Oder as well as my previous trash can. Maybe the bags could contain some form of air freshener. Beautiful addition to my new kitchen though.
