We had a simplehuman trash can with the recycling and our city is doing away with the recycling due to costs. We really liked that trash can so we purchased this one as a replacement to have a larger trash can. I love the black, it is easy to keep clean, doesn't have streaks like the stainless steel when I wipe it off. The lid closes and opens so easily and is quiet. It is worth paying a bit more to get a simplehuman product that will last and looks great in your kitchen.

We are thoroughly enjoying how well the bag fits the can and how the brim keeps the bag from slipping off the edge when tossing things in! This is a game changer. Will be switching our every trash can.

I was hesitant to buy a trash can at this price point, but it is worth it. It holds a lot of trash, and most importantly the trash bag stays up and in place when putting trash inside. Would recommend!
