So far so good!! My SECOND mirror was frustrating bc won’t always work right... hoping for better luck with new model.. love love clarity and brightness of light

I purchased this mirror to replace an old one I have that needs to be recharged a little more often now.
I’m very disappointed with this new mirror for multiple reasons. It’s too short and you have to tilt the mirror and look down, which is unpleasant, or prop it up on something to make it taller.

I like that there are brightness variations but for some reason there’s a dark spot at the top. Can’t explain it, but I don’t see that with my older mirror. Just seems dark at the top even in the brightest setting.
There’s a glitch with charging. The red low-battery light comes on randomly after I’ve just charged it. Then after just a few uses the charge is totally gone. I expected a new mirror to allow for many more uses before needing to be recharged.
This mirror is way too expensive for all these issues. Returning.

Lacks adjustment capability

My sister and I bought this mirror for our mom who has always used a personal mirror for makeup application. We were enamored by the light, sensor, magnification options, rechargable battery, etc. We both have the 5x magnifying mirror. Our mom is struggling with the mirror because the angle can't be adjusted. For her to be 'getting used to' this mirror, which was really expensive, is disappointing. We actually may end up returning it within the 45-day window. If you could add in an additional ability to adjust the angle, that would be perfect.

Lovely mirror, except...

I purchased the mirror about two weeks ago. The size, 3 magnification mirrors, the ability to adjust the brightness, the cordless, rechargeable battery are all fabulous features. The flaw is the motion sensor shuts down the light constantly while I’m in front of it applying makeup. It must shut off every ten seconds. It is so frustrating and annoying. Why any engineer would think this was a great feature has missed the mark completely. I think we are all capable of turning a lamp on and off. I would not purchase this product again unless there was a hardwired on-off switch to eliminate or override the motion sensor. Too bad, it would have been worth the price and I would have given it five stars, if I could control the light.

I love SimpleHuman products and always try to find what I want by them. This mirror is a fantastic idea, but I would like the 5x mirror to be an 8x and I would like the little 10x to be a little bigger or come up a little higher than it is. I have to bend down to see because the mirror also doesn't tip enough to be really comfortable when using the 10x.
