Cadillac of make-up mirrors

Purchased this for my wife as a Valentines Day gift.
She Loves it !
She ordered a mirror from that big company that starts with and "A " but had to send back 3 times because it was defective. I stepped in and purchased her this beauty. I told her that this mirror is something that she uses and depends on every single day so spending the extra money for quality is absolutely justified. The mirror also looks great at her make-up station in the primary bathroom. So far this mirror was worth the investment. Also ... my wife is so beautiful and she is a natural beauty

Weird angle

The light is fixed at an upward angle so when I’m seated at my vanity I can only see the top of my head. The mirror inside can be pushed down but only on the 5x side, and then the sensor needs to be constantly reactivated if you want light.

Love My Mirror

This is the third simple human mirror I have purchased. One was for my 13 year old granddaughter. She loves it!!
Mine was not keeping a charge so I decided to buy the 10 inch mirror with the double touch to switch to 10x and 1x magnification and the other side has the 5x magnification which is what I use to put my make up on. Then tap twice and I look in the 1x magnification side which I think most people see me.
I wish it would not have a plug and be able to tilt the mirror as I am short.
I understand why since the mirror is bigger and has extra things like switching sides and needs to be plugged in.
I LOVE LOVE this mirror. So glad I bought it. I'm 74 and I can see much better and people have complimented me.

Love this 10" mirror!

I replaced my old simplehuman mirror that I owned for about 10 years with this new version mirror. I love it, and can't say enough about it. I can pluck my eyebrows without worrying that I missed a hair. I have 2 mirror options for full face. The 5x option is great when putting on my makeup or face treatments. The lighting options for daytime and nightime is just fantastic. The quality that simplehuman provides deserves 100 stars. They back their products with a 10 year guarantee. You just can't beat that.

I have such mixed feelings on this mirror. On one hand, the quality is outstanding. The mirrors and magnification are like no other makeup mirror. Same for the lighting. I love the choice of two types of lighting, and again, the lighting is like no other makeup mirror. On the other hand, I was surprised to see there was no way to tilt this mirror. Not being able to tilt the mirror made it too difficult for me to use it. I am short, and had to use a chair cushion to see my face in the 5X side. Then, flipping it to the other side, I had to slouch and bend my neck to an uncomfortable position to use the 10X section and I couldn’t see myself in the 1X section at all. A makeup mirror needs to tilt to accommodate the user, not the user getting on and off of different cushions to try to get a good view. Other things I found that could be more user friendly are the sensor (maybe simply an on/off switch); the tapping to flip the mirror and the fixed positions of same; sliding to adjust the brightness; and and lack of instructions on use. I found this model was not right for me. However, I do like Simple Human products which in general I find to be superior, so I would not hesitate to buy a future mirror with different features that meet my needs. I am already sold on the exceptional quality of the mirrors themselves and the lights. I also have high praise for the easy return policy. Thank you, Simple Human. Can’t wait for some new models of mirrors with the features I need.

Best Mirror - no contest

I’ve tried them all and this is by far the best on the market! The best lighting - reflection - ease of use. I love my friends and family but I obsessively LIKE this makeup mirror!
