I love my new compost caddy but the compost bags are too small to fit over the plastic liner, and rip almost on contact. This combination makes it hard to place scraps in the caddy without the bag falling to the bottom or ripping. Larger bags would solve the problem.

We are happy with the Compost Caddy; however, the additional bags we ordered and paid for are extremely difficult to unfold and insert into the Caddy without tearing them. I regret ordering them, and understand that other brands can be purchased that are much easier to work with and insert.

Perfect for what I wanted

I had been using a compost pot I liked, but it had "issues"- the metal was rusting, the inner plastic container was hard to remove, etc. This solved everything! Hooks onto my trash can and easily comes off to go to my counter for clean-up. The inner plastic container comes out easily, and the biodegradable liners hold up well (old ones from other disintegrated as soon as any moisture hit them. This one is everything I needed and wanted!

Convenient, attractive, fits on the counter

It’s easy to use, we place a compostable paper product (napkin, paper towel, etc) in the bottom, fill it up, dump it into the bin and start again. Had it for a a few years now and it still looks great (late review).

Didn’t think it would matter but it’s much nicer and less smelly than reusing a plastic pail. The biodegradable liners also help keep the main bin clean to trash day.
