Unreliable

I had my trash can for about a year and all the sudden it stopped opening on command. Luckily I was under warranty so I was able to replace it (the base and lid are not detachable). I have now had my replacement for a couple of months and all the sudden woke up one morning went downstairs and the lid won’t open all the way.
Would not recommend.

Love the ease of set up, and it fits in the space. It had VERY protective packaging, so would recommend you have help to open it.

I loved my first simple human sensor trash can. Hopefully the sensor and opening feature of this new one will last longer than the first (3 years).

After less than 2 years, the lid did not open and close automatically. I reached out via the messaging and was able to get the can replaced quickly.
