Your new rectangular step can with liner pocket is wonderful. This method beats the old style one you sold me before. Since our new home comes with a trash compactor, this container will be used for recycle items only and we have 100 liners still in our possession from the last order. You have a great product, fancy and easy to use and replace the liner bag with no fuss.

No fingerprints

I LOVE my simplehuman trash can. The stainless steel really is fingerprint-free! It's the perfect size for my apartment, and the soft closure impresses all my guests. I'm so happy my best friend introduced me!

I really wanted to love this trash can! After eyeballing it for almost a year I decided to order it. It’s beautiful and fits perfectly in my space. I love the hefty bags and how convenient the liner pocket is. I also love the liner on the bottom of the trash can that will catch anything that would droop out of the bag (highly unlikely if you use the simplehuman brand name bags). However, the garbage can scratches SUPER easily. I haven’t had it for a full month and can already see several scratches on the lid :( The are also two small dents on the lid that look like a nail was dropped on it. The nano silver clear coat is described to protect against fingerprints and this is very misleading as I’m having to wipe the can down on a daily basis due to visible fingerprints. I must say I’m disappointed and therefore gave it only 3 stars.

Love the garbage can but the stainless lid and foot pedal show all the fingerprints. So if you have young kids it might not be the garbage can for you unless you want to wipe it down all the time, or maybe choose the plastic lid instead.

Well-designed and easy on the eyes from all sides but the back. Wish there were an option to remove the bag holder. It ruins the overall aesthetic and is useless bc we don’t use Simple Human bags. SH finally got it right when they stopped placing their logo too prominently on cans as they did for years, but now they’re wrecking the look with this attempt to expand product sales, which seems unnecessary given the higher than average price of their cans. If you don’t mind this one drawback then definitely get it.
