The best trash can ever!

I bought two of these for my kitchen after reading reviews about other brands whose hinge mechanism broke easily. These are really heavy duty, look clean, and are a wonderful design. My husband and I liked them so much we bought two more for his dental office.

Best step can I have ever had for my kitchen. I love how quiet the lid goes up and down. I also find the step superior to any I have tried before. I often use the step from the side or corner of the can and it works just as well as using the step head on from the front. A great, convenient, well made product, and do not forget extra liners, they will not disappoint.

It fits in with our kitchen decor and found a perfect place next to pantry. Was able to get rid of bulky canister in garage. Functional, great design and works like all other Simplehuman products we have gotten.

Good trash can but

I’ve only had it for about a month and whenever the lid closes, it makes a weird screeching noise. Could be it needs some kind of lubrication... but did not expect this to happen so quickly with such an expensive trash can. Pretty disappointed.
