The waste can is great. It’s even pretty good looking (for a garbage can). The step-opening and soft close works perfectly. We bought this to replace our under-the-sink garbage can. I finally got tired of having to repair the sink’s pvc drain what with the garbage can hitting it all the time. It appears to be very sturdy and well built. And we have had no problems with smudges on the stainless

Quite expensive for just a step can but you’re buying it for its looks. It’s only 45 liter so it’s not massive. I like it very much!

Love, Love, Love our new trash can. After years of my wife buying “cheap” trash cans and me struggling w them I found Sumplehuman and will never own anything else. Don’t fret over the cost, I’d gladly pay double. Trust me it’s worth every penny.
