Very small

This is a nice product, pretty and of quality design. It's much smaller than I expected from the photo, but I'm sure it's exactly the size listed. I should have taken a tape measure to my area. It's too small for my original need, but I'm sure I'll find a small space to tuck it into. Remember you lose space from the overall dimensions due to the self-storage of the liner bags. Again, a very nice product and I can't rate it down because I didn't bother to read the dimensions1

No starter bags included.

For the cost you think they’d put in a few starter bags. Nope. I had to wait a few days while my order of bags arrived. Very cheap of them and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Though these are smaller than the other cans we have. They seem to be able to keep my dogs from getting in to them. Less for them to get in trouble.

Excellent product design - Simple Human 5L slim step can

I recently replaced our bath and bedroom trash cans with the 5L in various finishes. The cans look clean and modern and function exceptionally well. The recessed lid cannot be nosed open by our dog, the soft touch close eliminates the clanging which occurred when closing our previous cans, the bag storage works well, and the bags fit is great! Bonus, the cans do not slide around when operating the foot pedal. I am very happy with this product and will highly recommend it to anyone. Nice work, Simple Human!

Smaller Than I Thought

My home only has simple human trash bins. These are nice bins and good quality. I really liked the fact that they have a place where the trash replacement bags can be stored. Having said that these are very tiny bins for a bathroom shared by two people. I will also note that the B trash bags are thin and flimsy compared to other simplehuman trash bags. These bins are at best good for putting under your desk or in a bedroom rather than a bathroom.
