The gold color is perfect. It’s very subdued. Fits perfectly between the toilet and vanity in the bathroom. The soft close lid was a surprise.

Step can is responsive to being foot-pressed, cover comes down slowly and quietly. I got use to only using my foot even though I could not hand-pull the top. Insert bags come with the can, whiich I didn't notice, so I ordered a supply which I'll use in different ways. Fits well in a powder room. Really like it.
