Good at first..

…Not so good a few months later. The lid stays open when you step on the foot pedal. Even manually closing the lid, there is a slight gap. I was under the impression we are paying for quality with simplehuman products?

A Love For Garbage!

I never knew I’d enjoy having garbage! It gives me an excuse to use these sleek, soft closing mini garbage cans. I purchased two 5L rectangular bins in white and love them, almost a shame to use them for trash!
They are very sturdy and extremely resilient to bumps and scratches. The high quality metal makes it easy to wipe down. It’s size makes it easy to fit in tight spaces and not look cluttered. One of the coolest features even in a can this small is the little storage compartment for replacement bags in the back. All you have to do is slide it in the slot and pull out the next one from the pack! Genius!
I know it’s a bit pricey for a garbage can but it will last you a lifetime in good hands. I speak from experience, I have a simplehuman kitchen trash can going on 20 years! Still looks great and works like a champ!

When I moved into a new house, I found my old bathroom trash cans did not fit the decor. I quickly purchased some inexpensive ones.
I hated them - too small, too lightweight (slide around when I tried to open them) junky. After six months of hating the first set, I found these Simple Human slim step cans - they are absolutely PERFECT. So glad I decided to ditch the others.

The can is well constructed and has a very sleek design. I love that it stores the bags, which makes replacement so easy. The matte black does get dusty quickly in our bathroom, but so far it has wiped down easily. The hinge and lid work as advertised.

I have the large cans for my kitchen, recycling and waste. This one is even better!!! Love the foot pedal and love the rubber feet that prevent it from moving. I hope that is a feature that has been added to the larger ones.
