Perfect size

This caddy is the perfect size for my 4qt electric composter. Once this fills up I know it’s time to run the composter. Love that it attaches to trash bin, it keeps it out of the way in a convenient location.

We use compostable bags in our main kitchen rubbish bin, but we have learned that when we put wet food waste in that bin, the bag disintegrates as it is designed to do. So we saved any plastic bags that make their way into our house to put that food waste in. We would keep that bag on the counter with all its ugliness while we added food scraps to fill.
Enter Simple Human Compost Caddy! What a change it has made to the kitchen environment and to our ease of food waste management. Well done you guys!

The size is perfect to collect food scraps to dispose of every 2-3 days. Unless it’s close to full before then. Occasionally I have to toss out a bunch of produce that expired all at once. So happy I bought this…the images of how it’s attached to your step cans could be better, but you will not be disappointed. I have 2 step wastebaskets and this rest on the side of the smaller wastebasket. Great value, so easy, convenient and worry free.

This is another great product from Simplehuman. The only minor issue is that the bags it comes with are super flimsy. I understand why they would make them that way, but they could use to be just a little bit more resilient
