I had a composted bucket that was on my counter & liked it, but then I saw this one that attaches to my garbage can that I boughtwat a gr8 idea, it's off my counter, it's roomy, lid shuts good & I can bring it to my counter wen im prepping than attach it bag, it's also very stylish & roomy, love the bags that come w/the composted, keeps the inside clean, unlike my other one, I was always rinsing it out & it doesn't smell as bad as the other one did, I think the bags really help w/this particular issue. Yes I wuld buy again in a heartbeat.

I didn’t realize this model didn’t have a cover so my trash and recyclables are visible (sort of) but it’s still cute and small and serves its purpose.

WHEN PREPARING FOOD ON COUNTER I ALWAYS WOULD RUN BACK AND FORTH TO THE TRASH CONTAINER (SIMPLEHUMAN). NOW I HAVE MY “LITTLE CADDY” ON TOP OF COUNTER WHILE I DO MY PREPARING AND THEN WHEN DONE, I WRAP THE BAG UP AND THROW IN GARBAGE. WHAT A WONDERFUL THING! TRY IT, YOU WILL BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED FOR THE CONVENIENCE. THANKS SIMPLEHUMAN FOR THE GREAT QUALITY OF YOUR PRODUCTS!

Composting Collection made easier

This is a very useful addition to an already nice kitchen trash can. It allows collection of organic waste in an easier-to-manage, less malodorous way. The compostable bags make it easier to either transfer to the trash or compost bin when full, less messy. My only complaint is that it’s a bit small, and that it requires opening by hand (when you have a bunch of grapefruit rinds or simliar and your hands are full, it’s slightly cumbersome), but all around great addition to my kitchen. Highly recommend!

Instead of using heavy duty mounting tape you should have used a strong magnet so you don’t damage the trash can.
