Great if you have Simple Human trash can

I really like this compost bin but it only comes with a magnet mount to attach to a metal garbage can. If you want to mount it under the sink or on a wall you need to purchase an additional attachment.

great compost helper

It looks sharp in the counter, and really cuts down on fruit flies and smells. I wasn't crazy about the idea of liner bags at first, but I'm sold. They make it easier to empty the bin and keep things clean.
If you're kind of a vigorous cook (guilty as charged here, x2 of us), consider having a scrap bowl next to where you're cutting or chopping, so it's tidier to get scraps into the bin.
And - consider the microfiber mitt!

I love the look and it fits well on the counter next to the coffee machine. It did not stick well to my current large simple human trash can, however. It fell right off.

I like how it looks matching and hanging on my simplehuman can. It’s just a bit small. It’s hard to fit paper towels and other food soiled paper with your food scraps. Good countertop container for food scraps only.
