This is really beautiful and has a great, simple design. I only wish it could be large enough to hold one week’s of food waste. But, this way it won’t smell so much when emptying ;).

Gap in lid

Does not close tightly. Gap around the lip of the bucket causes tiny pests to fester. And smells escape from it.

Great waste caddy

Just the right size. The lids heavy enough to keep close to the fragrance of the rotting vegetables doesn’t permeate the room. The caddy easily comes off the side of the trash can.

A Must Have!

I have been waiting on simple human to develop my favorite kitchen item in the color to match mu trash can. Voila once the announcement came out I had to buy this compost caddy and it fits beautifully with my kitchen decor. I wonder what I ever do without this helpful item!

This compact little caddy looks sleek and keeps my compost out of the way with no bugs or odors in site! It doesn’t fit on my model of trash can but it sits right next to it and it’s perfect. Love the compostable bags that were included. Exceeded my expectations!

Did not fit trash can

Love the caddy but it did not fit my simplehuman trash can. There was no way to tell whether it would fit or not from the description. Trash Can photos looked like mine but the lip was too wide to hold the caddy. Very disappointed as I really wanted it.

It’s nice but small

I like how it looks matching and hanging on my simplehuman can. It’s just a bit small. It’s hard to fit paper towels and other food soiled paper with your food scraps. Good countertop container for food scraps only.
