Love it!

I absolutely love the simple human setup I purchased. The compost caddy has the plastic bin that is easy to remove & take out to the compost pile, it is also very easy to clean. The compostable bags fit the bin perfectly and I've not had one slip inside the caddy. Very happy & would highly recommend purchasing.

Best Investment

Best purchase of 2021 for sure. I love how it fits on the side of the larger trash bin. I also love that I can take it off and place it on the counter to put scraps into as I cook. The only thing is that it is smaller than my typical compost bin size. I'm okay with that though because of how convenient it is! Plus, it's probably better since we'll have to take it out more frequently.

Don't buy the green composable bags!

The green composable liners that can be bought with the compost caddy will leak. Sometimes being earthwise brings inconveniences. Other than that, I love this little trashcan.

Good so far

Had it about 2 months. No smells or bugs yet! Loving the liners, the bun doesn’t get near as gross as the unlined OXO bin. Cleans easy . Attaches nice to my trash can. Unclear how the liners will break down over time in my residential compost.

Shoulda bought one sooner

Love this caddy. Beats the heck out of a noisy in-sink garbage disposal, looks good on the counter, and is easy to clean (no worries about icky stuff building up).
The one thing I would change it to design it so it can be pushed right up against the backsplash and still be opened.

Fruit flies get in so easily that we have already had to stop using it. The compost we received from our city was far better.
