Purchased it on November 23 and no proactive transparency from Simple Human on updates. Then I see a review this product email, which is comical given I still don't have the item. If I ever recieve it I will update the review accordingly.

For the last month, the 9oz liquid sensor pump has worked great in my kitchen. I would buy it again. Glad I have USB charging ability in one of my kitchen counter electrical outlets to make charging easier.

Overall good, do not like the volume feature

This is our third simplehuman pump (they don't seem to last more than ~4 years) and overall I like the design most. It takes up a small amount of counter space and I am hoping the rechargeable battery takes a lot of annoyance out of changing batteries.
My only gripe is the adjustable volume based on hand distance. It is going to be hard to teach my younger kids to put their hand as close to the spout as possible. Young kinds have short arms and shorter memories. Putting their hand further from the spout delivers an absurd amount of soap for even the biggest of hands. I wish we could deactivate or adjust that feature somehow.
