disappointed - but good customer service

I received a replacement for one that had trouble dispensing a decent amount of soap but new one is still not working as expected. I would need to put my hand on the pump at least 3+ times to get a decent amount to wash my hand (nothing even close to the amount on their ad). I've had Simple Human battery operated soap dispensers in the past and they were great as far as the amount of soap it dispenses. I like the fact that this is rechargeable and waterproof. I really want to like this pump! Simplehuman, please work on improving this product!

Have had the previous gen pump fail in a similar manner 3 times: would dispense once, then turn itself off. Pro: The magnetic charge cord connection is huge improvement on new model, do like the design of the indicator light. Con: the hand to sensor distance dispensing quantity feature is a nice idea, but doesn't have variability in soap output that the old manual push button adjustment did. Even w/ hand almost touching sensor (position for minimum soap) it dispenses too much soap. Otherwise seems to work well, time will tell regarding reliability.

It was so nice to get rid of my plastic soap dispensers, this is so much easier. Tip: When you first put the soap in the dispenser, hold the on button down for 5 seconds - the soap will then come out. Does not mention this in the directions.

Simplehuman, a great company to deal with

I like the new design but find that it drips after use. I exchanged this for a broken 11 oz model and the spout on it worked wonderfully. simplehuman replaced my non-functioning older model for this newer model. The sensor is super sensitive. More than anything, I appreciate the way simplehuman stood behind their product.

Fast and easy warranty replacement of hands free soap dispenser. Replacement unit is redesigned to avoid water corrosion issue that caused original unit to fail. I am truly impressed by this company.

First one broke within a week, the replacement after a year started to discharge the entire contents at night. I am on my third unit
