Good thing these have warranties because two of my units so far have required replacements within months of purchasing. When it works it’s fine but the fact that within months the product fails is unacceptable of a product at this price point. How many more more times within the warranty period will I be inconvenienced to go through the reporting and replacement process? Let me count the ways.
I love the design of the pump. However, this pump is overly sensitive and expels soap at just about any movement in our kitchen--like wiping off countertops (even at a distance), draining pasta over the sink, etc. And, yes, even after we've played with moving its location around. Also, the tops of all three of our new pumps (kitchen and bathrooms) have developed scratches on the top. I believe this is from gently wiping the tops off with a paper towel to remove water spots or from just placing them on the countertop lid side down so we don't get soap over everything. We don't have kids, so that's not the cause. I'm really disappointed as we had the models prior for several years and they look like new. I also miss the soap indicator on the back. Finally, it's hard to determine when they pump is running low as it no longer has the transparent window on the back. It's frustrating to run out of soap when your hands are dirty in the kitchen from raw meat.
