Best thing since the wheel!

I wanted to get a new silver trash bin. Didn't want to spend the money on it till covid-19. When I saw touchless trash bid. I decided to take the leap. I am so happy with this. Makes throwing out items safely. Bags look small but they hold a lot! Very easy clean up and bag change. Thank you for a simply quality made product!

Great Trash Can

I like the size of the trash can. It's not too big and not too small. Only thing is there is a small learning curve as to place your hand to open the lid. I also like that they provide you with a few trash bags to start out with.

Great Investment

I bought this new sensor can because my old simplehuman can was on its last leg. I bought the previous simplehuman around 8 years old. The new sensor can is awesome and I love that we don't have to step on a bottom lever to open. Also, it's well made and worth the $$$.

Upgrade from step can!

We thought that we loved our simplehuman step can, but our new 45-litre semi-round sensor can is really an awesome upgrade!
It took a day for us to remember that we no longer needed to “step” but now we are pros at sensor opening and we love it.
It’s also a breeze to replace the J liner... simple, clean and mess free.

Love for dogs!

I bought this product after reading reviews of “dog proof trash cans.” We just adopted a young dog and he learned how to get into and tip over the trash can we had very quickly. I’m actually shocked and not sure why this trash can works but he hasn’t gotten into it or tipped this one over since we got it. Even though his nose comes right up to the sensor and it often opens up for him, he can’t or doesn’t get in it. It’s also sturdy and doesn’t easily tip over. Aside from that, it’s a nice looking can which is important because I don’t have a space in my kitchen to hide the can well. And it works flawlessly! Very happy with the purchase.

My wife loves Rose Gold so i bought her the Semi-Round sensor can...and its awesome!! Its so quiet and its the perfect size for our bathroom. I wish I could purchase the Bronze 50/50 voice can but they are sold out! I know why these cans are awesome!

Beautiful Product, Disappointing Customer Service

This was not our first simplehuman trash can, but it was our first purchase directly from this site. The trash can is beautiful and exactly as described. We purchased it to replace our older simplehuman step can that finally broke after 10 yrs. I was hesitant to go with the sensor/no touch can just because it is one more thing to break. I loved the idea of potentially no dirty fingerprints all over the can so I gave this one a try. The delivery was prompt and the can looked beautiful in our kitchen. The can came with batteries and a sample liner pack and everything worked great. Where the 1 star falls off...the can stopped working the next day. I read the little book and it said if we see a red light the battery is low. I looked over and red light it was! For the price of this can you'd think that this company could afford to include 4 batteries that aren't dead!?! It is just bad form. I 'd rather you not include them at all than slap me in the face by sending dead batteries. Cheap kiddie toys come with batteries that last longer than the 12 hrs my straight from the box/manufacturer batteries lasted. It just wasn't a good first impression.
