While I am grateful that simple human attempted to better the steel frame dishrack, please reconsider the attempt. Having two rows of “plate spacers” plus the knife block is much more doable. At least, for this family. The wine glass rack is not necessary..
I'd debated getting a dishrack for years. Most of my dishes go in the dishwasher, but stuff that's used daily would be washed and put away. Now, I can be lazy and wash stuff and set it to dry and my kitchen still looks good.
This works perfectly in my kitchen. I didn’t want to put it right against the sink so I put my small dish mat down against it for any draining instead of the water going into the sink.
It is a fine replacement for an old simplehuman dish rack that we had that also seem to understand that the water collected by the drainer had to go somewhere! We have adapted it to the way we do the dishes and are quite happy with it.
