I loved my original simplehuman dishrack so much, I bought one as a gift. Unfortunately the new version doesn't come with a knife block which is one of the best features of the item. I purchased one separately from the website but it doesn't fit! I'm so disappointed they made the product worse.

We have a small kitchen, but we were tired of and frustrated by our aged compact drainer.
We have very limited counter space so we were concerned that this standard-size one would be too big. However, we positioned it with the long end running front to back, and it fits fine.
We both really love it. It hold so much more than the old one, and safely. The wine glass holder is brilliant. No more balancing and worrying. Ditto the sturdy outboard cup and glass holders—we even use them for our antique glassware. There is plenty of room for pots and pans and cutlery.
It is easy to clean and we have had no floods underneath it.
Beautifully made, high quality, gorgeous to look at. An elite dish rack, and worth every penny.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was so tired of dish drying cloths or rubber drying pads sitting on my granite and soaking through. This dishrack sits on small legs above the granite counter and has a drain that I can direct into the sink. My granite doesn’t get wet at all. Wine glasses, regular glasses and mugs have a separate spot so less likely to break. It’s large enough for pots and large bowls and the bottom is drip-resistant so it looks new even after water drains onto it. The stainless steel matches my appliances. Very happy with this purchase.

Design Improvements Work!!

The redesigned dishrack is a solid improvement from the prior model. The house has used this model since 2011 with several exchanges and returns because of design flaws, however, with the robust design of this model, I can see this dishrack lasting for several years!
