I think my lack of enthusiasm for the product has more to do with my lack of pre-purchase imagining of it’s features’ usefulness for me and what it might look like on my counter top. eg, I don’t use stemmed drinking glasses so...that drying feature is not useful for me; so more space is taken up inside the drying rack leaving less space for mixing bowls and pots & pans; it takes up more counter space than I anticipated because I did not use the measurements provided to layout the “footprint;” The one thing I could not have anticipated is that my water supply is more mineralized than I knew and this white water spots remain on the bottom surface if not immediately dried by hand. Yet, It is far better than what
My new rack complements the kitchen remodel we just finished. It holds a full sink's worth of dishes and the raised design keeps the bottom from getting yucky underneath. I especially like the wine glass holder. It dries all of my various sizes of stemware with ease, something missing from my older racks. One little benefit I noticed is a shorter section in the silverware part--perfect for drying small objects like my wine aerator.
Purchased the older model years ago. It lasted us 6 years but the seal at the bottom eventually broke. Simple Human made some slight upgrades which we like by removing the knife block and providing a 360 degree swivel to drain the water.
Absolutely love this dishrack. It looks great, is a big size to fit everything. Really like the base under the glasses to catch the water and very happy that the spout swivels 360. Only thing I wish is there was an alternative to the wine glass holder. We don't drink, so it's wasted space for me. Wish there was an option for a cutting board holder or something else.
