NEW & IMPROVED

I just bought the updated model of the dishrack, after using the former model for years. New model PROs: WHITE! I love it, finally it matches my appliances and sink. Very fresh looking. They've gotten rid of the silly rubber gasket which would never stay in place, and which I threw away. I love the little feet, a huge improvement over the metal u-shaped feet on the former one. And, the swiveling drainer sits above the lip of my sink (the old one didn't), although it does stick out in the sink a bit too far. CONs: No knife block, so I use the drip tray under the wine glasses holder for knives. Bring back the knife block. Because of limited counter space, I need this drainer to sit right at the edge of my sink, which is a set-in sink with a lip. The photos all show this drainer sitting back quite a ways from the edge of the sink. The fixed drip tray under the glasses on the front sticks WAY out into my sink, and had to be removed. I did like the one on the former model, which could slide back under the drainer. This means I have to be sure to wipe up drips under the glasses. Mostly a big improvement over the old model, which left a lot of water spots that wouldn't come out, and became very unattractive. Thank you.

Getting flimsy

The older models where definitely more sturdier, the peg style plate rack, not a fan. The bottom tray, no longer adjustable. It used to slide in.

Hands down the best dishrack I have ever used. Also looks amazing. Highly recommended. Yes it's pricy, but it is high quality and looks as elegant as a dish rack can. Lol.

Functional and Easy to clean

This is a gray dish rack. The base is very easy to clean and simple in design, which is crucial since I bought this one to replace an older Simplehuman dish rack model where the base was grooved so very hard to clean and also broke at the main drainage trough. I do wish that the utensil holder came with a bamboo knife organizer top (which I kept from my old model to make this a bit lore functional). And I think it could be just a little more compact (without being the smaller model) with how all the side extension pieces fold up. But overall really pleased.
