This is a downgrade from the previous model we've had for about 6 years. No knife slots. The tray that the glasses sit over is fixed whereas the last model you could push it in for less clutter. Disappointed in this purchase.
I really like my purchase. I first saw it in a condo we recently stayed at, and was absolutely determined to purchase it for my house. It is a sleek, modern dish rack that makes my kitchen look that much more updated! There is a lot of space for the dishes and I definitely like the piece that allows the water to flow from the middle of the rack to my sink w/o spilling all over the place. It's just an overall great product that I'm glad I bought! My aunt even got one for Christmas!
I love the design of this tub-like rack, which funnels excess water into the sink and keeps it off the counter. Not a five star review because the fixed rack design is inflexible, and we find it difficult to position frying pans, for example, in the rack above the tub. Would prefer to have more options to configure the rack for our usual needs. As we sometimes use the wineglass tray to let rinsed yogurt containers dry before recycling them, it would also be nice to have a permeable mesh net atop that tray. But the most problematic issue is the design of the dish rack. Like it overall, just don’t live it.
Love it! It's the second one I purchased. My old one is still good after years of daily use but has hard water deposits on it that I can't remove so bought myself a new one.
We've had a plastic dish holder for several years and have developed a complex system of mats and stacking techniques to keep water flowing back into the sink or absorbed into the mats after washing dishes. Also a several pots and pans. It is simply can I be used in a regular plastic dish rack. This one holds everything and draws the water back into the sink and allows us enough leverage to put several large items into the rack without wearing that they're going to fall out and the middle of the night.
