Nice looking but water flow down spout

The unit looks great and solid. One flaw is that the water just collects at the bottom and does not drain out as expected. It seems kind of expensive for an item that doesn't work properly.

This is our third Simplehuman dish rack, we’ve been purchasing them since they first came out. They’re sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and last years. The only thing I was a little disappointed about is that our last one had a wood knife holder and the new one does not. I’m not sure if that’s because we bought the matte black this time or if Simplehuman just removed it with the design change, but that previous feature added to the beauty and the high-end look.

Improvement Suggestion

Make it 5+ stars by copying design of compact with a mix of stainless and white. The large white is almost overpowering and unfortunately the stainless has a dark grey base. Also wine glass holder useless (except wine drinkers) but by narrowing the stainless channel you could place knives/cutlery upside down to prevent dangerous positioning of sharp knives and damage to the plastic parts of the unit itself . Please consider these suggestions and if you use them I expect a freebie one as my fee. Tell 'em people!!!

Nice and functional, but we bought it to replace a nearly identical 11 year old version of the same thing and everything about this one is flimsier and seems to be made out of cheaper materials.

Amazing except the plate holders

Love this dishrack! It holds so much and looks very sleek in the matte black. My only issue is with the plate holders - it doesn't hold a large dish very well, my large plates sort of fall over. Seems like a solution would be to stagger the height of the prongs or have them bent at an angle. Thanks!
