The plastic tray arrived with a defect. There is a small chip on the edge. It’s such a hassle to return so I’m living with it. Other than that it’s a very nice looking dish rack.

Perfect size for our narrow space - we use it without the wine rack or side drip tray attached, as the side hooks are situated over the sink. The bamboo knife rack from the 2007 model fits (but doesn’t seat fully down) into the utensil basket and we are glad we bought it separately to use with the dishrack, even though it kind of messes with the sleek look of the matte black on our black countertops. The side hooks are convenient for drying ziploc bags, which we wash and reuse. We have the drain channel rotated to the corner of the dishrack/sink and it’s almost invisible (yet still effective) there. Wish we had gotten this years ago - it’s fantastic.

Good upgrade from prior version

I like most of the innovations in this new rack, replacing our 10-year-old one that was difficult to clean and had a couple of broken pieces. This new design will make it much easier to clean the interior. But I wish the drip catcher was retractable, as the old one could be pushed under the rack out of the way. And I also liked the bamboo knife rack, which is not part of the new design. Nonetheless, this is a great dish-draining rack!
