Great product, a couple of updates needed

Bin looks great and does what it is intended for. The latching handle can be improved. Lots of slop in the hinges and the latch is very large, have to take a couple of tries to get it to latch correctly. Also the latch has a solid handle below it that does not move. Need a larger size difference between the two to grasp easier.

I didn't know I could love a pet food can!

I initially purchased a plastic food bin from another vendor...which attracted lots of ants because of the smell of the dog food seeping out. YIKES! When googling, I came across the Simple Human pet food can and it has been a GAME CHANGER. It is sleek, simple to use, holds a lot of food, and the ants cannot smell the food! So happy with this purchase. Love that the food scooper has a home in the lid as well. Might be a little pricey but hey, it is something you and your pet will use everyday! Might as well get something that works!

Airtight and attractive

I have had the black plastic model of theirs for many years, but during a remodel decided to update to this more attractive version. They fit large bags of dog food perfectly, protect against any critters trying to get in and keep the food fresher.
