This container is absolutely great. Prior to getting it, every time I left the house, or before retiring for the evening, I had to pull out my garbage containers, put a couple in chairs in front of the whole set up, in order to block the dog food container from the dog. Then I had to put everything in place when I came down in the morning. Sometimes they had managed to knock everything and get at the food container anyway spreading everything over the floor so I had to do a clean up before I could make coffee. None of that now. It seems that the Simplehuman container is totally air tight so there is no scent and it is absolutely impossible for the dogs to figure out how to get into it. They haven't even tried!! It's easier to check out in the evening and I can come down for my coffee in the morning without having to clean up a big mess. Thank you for coming up with this very secure and attractive (it matches my trash and recycling containers) dog food container!!!

I love these dog food bins. They are attractive in the kitchen and keep the food fresh. Even my dog who can open step cans, can’t get into this one. The scoop held in the lid by magnet is so handy. I gave 4 stars because it’s pretty easy to get small dents on the top. I wish the wheels were rubber instead if plastic. I did have a wheel break, but Simple Human sent a new one at no charge to me.

Excellent - holds one large bag of food and easily accessible - we added a large scoop to handle a larger portion for multiple dogs.

Arrived in great shape. Lid is easy to operate but not so easy it's attractive to our dogs. It is very stylish, looks great in the kitchen. Love the measured scoop.

Great for Pet Food

We have an extra large dog and this bin keeps a full bag of food fresh while storing it neatly. No more worrying about the zip lock on the bag tearing or breaking, and no more worrying about stale food. Functionally designed with a scoop that fits into the lid and smudge proof exterior.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Can is well-built and the latching mechanism works well to seal it. Fits nicely inside a full-size utility cabinet, easy to reach inside for food and can roll out to get the last bits when it is near empty. Strong recommendation.

Finally a well built druable dog food container

I have had dogs all my life and never able to find a durable, well built dog food container. They are always plastic and crack or wear out. Sure this one is more expensive, but when I look at how much I put out over the years on other containers, this one is well worth it. If looking for a dog food container that will last and it is your first one, shell the money out for this one. Believe me I have been through too many dog food containers, lost count and money on them.
