Quality price doesnt match product quality

I brought the medium and the x-large and I can say the product is consistent. Love their appearance. Wheels poor quality. Can smell food sometimes when walking by.

Compact and Practical!

This pet food canister is brilliant and a real problem solver! It's very sleek and compact and fits neatly in a corner where we formerly stacked dog food bags. Voila, now the corner is clean! Also, it's excellent for keeping dog food fresh and away from potential insects. We are most delighted and plan to buy a second x-large can, as we have several dogs and need to store lots of food. Thank you, simplehuman, for coming up with a great solution.

This container is absolutely great. Prior to getting it, every time I left the house, or before retiring for the evening, I had to pull out my garbage containers, put a couple in chairs in front of the whole set up, in order to block the dog food container from the dog. Then I had to put everything in place when I came down in the morning. Sometimes they had managed to knock everything and get at the food container anyway spreading everything over the floor so I had to do a clean up before I could make coffee. None of that now. It seems that the Simplehuman container is totally air tight so there is no scent and it is absolutely impossible for the dogs to figure out how to get into it. They haven't even tried!! It's easier to check out in the evening and I can come down for my coffee in the morning without having to clean up a big mess. Thank you for coming up with this very secure and attractive (it matches my trash and recycling containers) dog food container!!!

I purchased this for our new house and it holds the full bag easily. Easy enough to use that my 6 year old can manage it and sleek design to freshen the kitchen and slide between wall and fridge. Holding up well and very happy with this purchase.

Have purchased two of the x-large size container. One holds dry kibble for our large breed dog. I love that it completely keeps the odor of the kibble within the container and that it allows us to eliminate having an open bag of dog food sitting out in our mud room, which tended to attract little bugs. The second container we got to hold wild bird seed. Be aware... the specifications stated that the containers would hold between 36-44 lbs of dog food, but that is not entirely accurate. Apparently our brand has larger pieces so it did not quite hold 31.1 lbs. We were able to put a 50 lb. bag of wild bird seed in the second container, which filled it completely. So, capacity will differ based on what you put into the container. Otherwise, great product. Love how it looks. Great, responsive Customer Service. To my mind, well worth the cost.

Great storage for dog food

I wanted a container that would store food so that my puppy couldn't get into if left alone. This is perfect. It seals perfectly and keeps the food fresh. The container is lined with a plastic and can be lifted out to clean. I was able to put 2 bags of Costco puppy food into the x-large container. Each bag weighs 20lbs and the kibble is about 0.5 inches X 0.5 inches X 0.3 inches.
