I was hesitant to spend so much money on a pet food container and kept telling myself the one I had was fine but kept coming back to this. I finally took the plunge and made the purchase and I’m glad I did. First of all, it looks 100 times better in my kitchen than the plastic container I had. Then, in true simplehuman fashion, the functionality is top notch; from the quality magnetic scoop that fits inside the lid, to the dog proof latch, the removable inside bin, and the ability to wheel it around if necessary. While this may not be an absolute must have, I am extremely happy I broke down and bought it (my husband is too).

Easy ordering. Fast shipping. Easy to clean before first use. Holds a lot of kibble. Air tight. Wheels work to help move around. Helpful scoop. Easy latch opening and locking tight. Handsome.

Well made. Good looking. Clever storage of the measuring cup. Hard to reach the bottom as dog food runs low. Perhaps put a spring between the liner and the outer can so it lifts up as supply runs low.

Needed new dog food bins

I purchase 41 lb bags of dog food. 41lbs is too much for these containers. Also magnetic scoop is difficult to remove from lid. Air tight & keeps food fresh.

Nice alternative

We have 3 large dogs and have kept dog food stored in a metal garbage can in our basement. The simple human storage bin is sleek, and fits in a small space in our mudroom. The scoop in the top is good sized and I like the magnetic holder. The bin holds a good 40 lbs of dog food too.
