Phone doesn’t fit with a protective cover. You must remove the phone from the cover before using but it’s the cover that also needs to be disinfected.

Technicality, I do not know how much germs it will eliminate, but it's the design that sold me. The futuristic motorized input is a feature that you don't see everyday on the market. The minimal brushed design and material used is just extraordinary. If you liked the simplehuman trash can, you will like this cleanstation as it will also create topics with your friends and family when they come over.

Quiet and Effective, Doesn't Fit Long Phones

Overall I'm happy with the purchase. The lifting mechanism is effective and quiet. Be aware, that this unit DOES need to plug in... they leave the cord out on all of the photos making look like it is wireless, but it is not, and that was a bit of a disappointment. It also doesn't hold my phone with the case on, I have the Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 3, and with the case, it's just too long to fully go into the unit, so it kicks it back and doesn't even start. This means I have to take it out of the case each and every time I use the unit, with is also frustrating.

I love this! It's so easy to just put the phone in and feel good about having a cleaner device. It's right next to the kitchen sink so we wash our hands while we wait. Perfect! A little pricey, but that just means it's doing a good job of sanitizing. Plus the fact that it automatically just pulls the phone in is pretty fun.

Had a clamshell style cleaner before, and I would always forget that I put my phone in there, and where it was, because it took so long, and hid it.

Will not fit with the slimmest of cases!

Extremely disappointed! The cleanstation will not work with my iPhone XR with a Lifeproof Fre case. It needs to be a bit more wide to be able to accommodate basically any mobile phone with a slim case. I returned mine for a full refund.
