We bought the black 58L Step Recycler and honestly—why didn’t we do this sooner? It looks fantastic, blends right in with our kitchen, and the dual compartments make recycling so much easier. The step mechanism is smooth and quiet, and the fingerprint-proof finish is a nice bonus. Simplehuman nailed the design and function. A surprisingly satisfying upgrade to our daily routine!

Clean look

Our new SH recycle/trash receptacle has a clean modern look. No problems. We are using the appropriate can liner and it is tight in the can and unseen. Really love the recycle removable sleeve and it makes for quick transfer of recycled items.

I purchased the 58L Recycler in Gold and love it. It looks great, the brushed gold color is beautiful, not too bright. I love having one can for trash and recycling, I can get rid of the large bag hanging on the door I used for recycling. I have purchased before and love all the simple human products. They are all first class :) Thank you

Super waste can that’s has two sides

Being able to sort your waste makes it easy to place in proper garbage bins for collections. Way easier to dispose of waste and avoid fines from the city that has specific rules as to what kind of waste is designated for pickup.

Love it - just needs a lock!

I love this! It's totally simplified our kitchen and looks amazing. The pedal and soft close function super well. I was hoping the flush closed top would keep my toddler from investigating the trash/recycling but he's just figured out how to raise the main ring. If this had a lock, it would be a perfect 5-star can.
