I’ve bought the same case before I am. This old is poorly made it flexes when I have my pop socket on it and now my pop socket is coming off because of how much that it flexes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Otterbox is the only case I will buy. This goes for my wife and son as well. I got the 2 laver (inside rubbery, outside hard shell). THey have changed a little since the last one I bought - the rubber on the old one was actually rubber and the outer case firmed it up well. The new one is more like flexible plastic, and more difficult to remove. But I'm sure the engineering department knows what they are doing. The new one is just a little thicker, and the outside has an embossed pattern. My old one was much smoother and slipped into my pocket well. Also, I don't use the belt hooks. But I am one of these people that will buy a phone and keep it until I can't put the latest OS on it, and the Otterbox case helps me do that.
