A remote would have been nice. Hate getting up after getting comfy in recliner to set heater or turn off.

I did not purchase the extended warranty and I hope that will not bite me in my butt. It warms the cool side of my sitting area downstairs in the evenings where the kids will do homework

Hot plug in prongs

I just got it to heat my bathroom. I have only used it twice. I did not noticed the first time I unplugged how hot the plug in prongs were. It was extremely hot along with whole cord
Is this normal? Have never had that happen before. Plug prongs were hot enough to burn the skin I t did warm my bathroom.
