Should have bought one sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 550A and have been super impressed with it so far. It maintains temperature extremely well and has a big hopper that can run for a long time between refills. The design of the grease pan and drain system make cleaning very easy. I just add some foil to the pan and can throw it away afterwards. The control knob is super simple and easy to use. It makes everything taste great. I also bought a smoker tube and light it inside the grill for extra smoke flavor on some types of food. If you are like me and loves smoked food but dont want to sit around and babysit a regular smoker then this is for you! Just set it and forget it. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

Great little smoker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus far I have cooked on it three times, and the results are amazing! This is my first pellet smoker and although it was a little smaller then expected it is a great family size smoker. I was disappointed there was no cover with it, and it doesn’t appear that z-grills even sells a cover for the model I purchased. Building was a little difficult as a one person job but not impossible and was completed in about an hour. This is a great entry model smoker!

I had two places that were bent. One was the storage pan connecting to the legs. Second was the grease pan. Considerable bends. I took a hammer to straighten them out. It did not affect the operation of the grill. I feel ZGrills needs a better QA/QC control.
Looking forward to many great meals.

For my inaugural smoke, I went with wings. Seriously the best wings I've ever had in my life, people in my house were crying because the wings were so good. GROWN MEN CRYING OVER THE DELICIOUSNESS OF WINGS. Make your friends cry meat tears, get a a Z-Grill.
