Flickering Display problem with the USB-c dock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially had problems with flickering display while using the display ports on the dock. After support from Lenovo tech team, we discovered that there was a setting in the dock that need to be changed. This discovery happened only after swapping cables and docks with a new one. I'm very happy we found the problem and fixed the problem but it did take a lot of debug time to get to the solution and multiple trips to the UPS store to return cables and the original dock all of which weren't the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great laptop. I was issued one for work and my thought was "great another piece of corporate junk." After using it for a few months, I had to have one as my personal laptop. I am so happy to have this ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 for my personal computing needs. First and foremost it is lightweight. When caring a tablet and TWO laptops, weight is a major factor. The two Laptops (both ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12s) are lighter than the darn tablet with a smart keyboard by itself. The tablet now stays at home since I can do way more with the two laptops.
The second major factor is Battery Life. This thing lasts and lasts and last. I love it.
By far this is the best laptop I have ever used both personally and professionally over a 30 year career.
