Great value, and a very handy, and easy to use cordless vacuum. I’ve bought 4 different Levoit products and each one has perform well over a long term of service. The vacuum is my latest acquisition, and I’m glad I bought it over one of the more expensive models from other brands.
We originally bought our first LVAC-200 Cordless Vacuum last year (2024), when we moved into our new house. It was a Prime Day deal and it had great reviews, so I wanted to give it a try ... and it was also my birthday gift to myself, ha ha. With that said, I absolutely fell IN LOVE with this vacuum!! It is WAY better than our Dyson cordless vacuum ... so much so, that I kicked our Dyson down to our basement and bought another LVAC-200 for our upstairs (again on Prime Day). It works amazing well on any surface! The light on the vacuum head is super helpful in seeing what is actually on your floor ... and many times it would show what our Dyson had missed - and it was quite a bit! I LOVE this vacuum and have told many friends and family about it. It's definitely worth the cost.
I’d send this back if I could. It doesn’t suction well at all you have to go over small crumbs 3x and it still leaves behind a mess. It doesn’t maneuver very well. It’s very cheaply made. You’re better off going with a Tineco or spending a little extra and buying a shark.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I decided to write a review to help other shoppers make up their mind about buying this product. Let’s face it, nothing compares to a cord vacuum. However, I live in a three-story house, have a fractured back and I’m not as young or strong as I used to be. I decided to buy this product to help with that. I first bought the Shark® Cordless PowerDetect™ Clean & Empty, because I’d always bought Shark vacuums and mops. I can say the Shark stick vac was a huge disappointment: overpriced, and it didn’t do anything. Because I already own two Levoit air purifiers and love them, I decided to give Levoit a chance with this vacuum. Here’s what it does well: I have long haired cats, so it picks up a ton of cat hair off hardwoods. It also picks up cat litter really well. My whole house is hardwood, so as far as picking up crumbs, hair, etc. it works well. However, it does not pick up dust, which is a big disappointment. It works just so so on a flat carpet, but it would not work on any type of shag, no matter how short, whatsoever. It barely picks up dirt on flat rugs. Here’s what its faults are: as mentioned, it does not pick up dust. It also has very, very little power. There are three battery level light indicators on the stick vacuum. After just 10 minutes of vacuuming, it’s already down one bar. If the battery is depleted by just 10 minutes of vacuuming, then that means it has a total charge time of 30 minutes, which really isn’t that much considering the size of my house and the fact that all its surfaces are hardwood or tile. I kept the vacuum only because it’s better than walking around the house, bent over with a dust buster, or having to lug out the corded vacuum. It works on a day-to-day basis for the cat hair and cat litter, but other than that, it’s pretty unremarkable. At least the price is more in line with its performance than the Shark.

Hard surface yes, carpet? No way

This vacuum may be great for hard surface floors however it does not work well on carpet, especially thicker high pile carpet. I tried it I returned it. Sometimes it’s best to stick with a good ole fashioned vacuum cleaner if you have carpet .You will definitely get way more suction power versus a cordless.
