The vacuum works fine on hard floors but on low carpet it won't pick up long hair and doesn't get all of the dirt, not like the older model which did great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had a lot of expensive cordless stick vacs. This one has just as good suction. It’s light. Quiet. Picks up all of the pet hair. Charges quickly. I love that it doesn’t come with tons of tools I won’t use anyhow. I also like how simple the filter system is. This feels like a great value for the price.

I love how easy this vacuum is to use. It is perfect for my studio apartment. It works great on my rug when I put it on turbo. I got it because I needed a vacuum that could oick up hair well, and it works great! Love that it can stand up on its own and that the batter can be removed and charged somewhere else. Easy to use. Recommending to anyone wanting those features.

Overall I am pleased with this vacuum. It is powerful and light, easy to tuck away behind a door, easy to empty. It seems I have to set it down just so or it will be tippy. Maybe this would not be a problem if I hung it on the wall with the enclosed hanger. But I did not want to drill holes in the wall.

I really like this stick vac that I bought to use in my Airbnb. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and I really like that. It has a light on the front of it, so I can actually see where the dust and dirt is. Would definitely buy again.
